BORD na nÓG ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: Blackrock Bord na nÓg AGM takes place on this Wednesday 29th. January at 8pm in Teach na Cille. All are welcome and please let Sarah know by DM if you wish to nominate anyone for the position of Vice Chairperson or Assistant Secretary. Current positions remain if no objections or further nominations. . We encourage all up and coming new coaches, referee enthusiasts and match volunteers to come along. Bring your Garda vetting documentation opportunity to complete on the night with our child welfare officer
LONG PUCK COMPETITON: The Blackrock GAA Club Annual Long Puck Competition will be held on Sunday February 2nd. commencing at 2pm from Murrin’s Cross to Ardpatrick. 10 per person Under 10s free. Refreshments to follow in Spruce and Willow. PLEASE NOTE: participants to bring their own sliotars on the day.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP 2025:
Blackrock GAA Club Membership for 2025 is now available to pay on Foireann. Please note for persons who do not have access to Foireann, we will hold an evening in both Ardpatrick and Kilfinane in the next week or so where members will be able to pay in cash. Details of date to follow.
NOTE: Social membership only allows access to the walking track, and not be entered into draws for inter county match's and will not have voting rights at club meetings.
Closing date for membership is strictly 31st March 2025.
COMHAIRDEAS: To Dylan Dawson and Donnacha Leahy, former Blackrock players now playing with Robert Emmets GAA Club in London. Both players were on the London Senior Hurling panel that defeated Roscommon by 1.15 to 1.10 in Allianz Hurling League Division 3 Round 1 game played at McGovern Park in London on Sunday last.
Blackrock GAA club was founded in 1972 as a result of an amalgamation between the Kilfinane and Ardpatrick clubs and is named after the hill overlooking the two parishes. It has a very proud tradition and history of hurling, camogie and football. This website hopes to keep you in touch with everything that is happening within the club while also remembering and honouring events past. We hope it will provide nostalgic trips down memory lane while also witnessing many happy times to come. Please bare with us while we gather and upload all the information, as you can imagine there is alot of history and memories from all players and supporters, who have been and are, part of this club.
